About Sisson Seed and Feed
Located at 639 Main Street in Delta, Colorado, Sisson Seed and Feed is an independent farm and garden supply store. It serves the Delta area as a neighbourhood option for plants and garden supplies, with staff on hand rather than a self-service warehouse.
What you will find
Expect the sort of stock a farm and garden supply store carries: farm and garden supplies, feed and seed, soil and fertiliser, fencing and tools, and seasonal plants. What is on the benches changes with the season.
Growing conditions in Delta
The Mountain West here brings a cold, high-elevation climate (often USDA zones 4 to 6) with short summers, cold winters and big day-to-night temperature swings. That makes a nearby store genuinely useful, because its stock leans toward hardy perennials, cold-tolerant vegetables, native grasses and short-season fruit that actually do well here. It is worth asking staff about right-plant, right-place choices for your specific spot, soil and sun.
