For gardeners in and around Mount Zion it is a local, staffed alternative to the big-box aisles, the kind of place where you can see plants in person and get advice suited to your own yard.
Gardening in Mount Zion
The humid subtropical South here has long, hot, humid summers and short, mild winters (broadly USDA zones 7 to 9), a climate that keeps things growing much of the year. That makes a nearby store genuinely useful, because its stock leans toward azaleas and camellias, crape myrtle, warm-season vegetables, citrus in the warmer counties and heat-loving perennials that actually do well here. It is worth asking staff about right-plant, right-place choices for your specific spot, soil and sun.
Plants and supplies
The store generally stocks annuals and perennials, trees and shrubs, native and drought-tolerant plants, succulents and houseplants, plus the soil, compost, containers, seeds and hand tools that go with them, with the mix rotating by season.
