Visiting 72 Farm Store
Located at 6239 Highway 72 East in Gurley, Alabama, 72 Farm Store is an independent farm and garden supply store. It serves the Gurley area as a neighbourhood option for plants and garden supplies, with staff on hand rather than a self-service warehouse.
Plants and supplies
The store generally stocks farm and garden supplies, feed and seed, soil and fertiliser, fencing and tools, and seasonal plants, with the mix rotating by season.
Gardening in Gurley
The humid subtropical South here has long, hot, humid summers and short, mild winters (broadly USDA zones 7 to 9), a climate that keeps things growing much of the year. That makes a nearby store genuinely useful, because its stock leans toward azaleas and camellias, crape myrtle, warm-season vegetables, citrus in the warmer counties and heat-loving perennials that actually do well here. It is worth asking staff about right-plant, right-place choices for your specific spot, soil and sun.
